Liam Jason Duffy Arrives

Liam Jason Duffy was born at 11:49 pm on September 4th, 2008 at the Huntersville Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville, NC. He weighed in at 9 lbs 1 1/2 ounces and is 22 inches long. His Mother Christine and Dad Jason were in labor for many hours before the decision was made to do surgery.
Liam's Grandparents Tim and Shannon Datig were on hand, Shannon pacing
the hallways, Tim watching the US Open Match with one eye. Liam's Aunt
Jennifer Duffy was also in attendance for support and humor.
Liam's first 24 hours were uneventful except for the trauma his Dad was going through changing his diapers. Liam likes to eat, be cozy and sleep. Both parents were doing a great job putting up with new Grandparents and Aunt.
The Duffy's went home on Monday the 8th to introduce Liam to the family pet Lucy, and get down to the business of trying to get enough sleep.
